No one can believe the unmitigated gall you had last night, after your fellow Senators had refused a second time to invoke cloture on your bill, to appear in front of the cameras and say, "We'll be back."
Sir, you will not be back. Your bill will be killed the next time you try to resurrect it, and every single time after that.
It will be killed, as it so richly deserves to be, because the American people know a pig in a poke when they see one. We have been fooled by politicians like Ted Kennedy, John McCain and youfor decades.
No more.
You said this is "not over." Let me tell you, sir, what is "not over." What is not over is the ongoing effort of the American people to stop politicians like you from ruining our country. WE WILLSUCCEED because we are in the right, and you are not.
What IS over is your political career. Put a fork in it. It's done.

Wow! Are you sure you want to admit you've been foold by Ted "Liberal Lion" Kennedy and John "Crazy" McCain over and over and over for decades?
And who are the "we" of which you speak? Do you have their addresses? I have some land to sell and would love to talk to some suckers... er... potential buyers!
