This is hysterical . . .real, live Surrender Monkeys at the Federal Building in San Francisco!
And, they were told to leave -- because their handlers didn't have the proper City permit to have a live chimpanzee! Is this real-life San Francisco, or what?
At the end of the article, the reporter quotes the inevitable animal rights protester, who delivers the Line of the Day:
"Bringing chimpanzees into a crowded situation ... shows this group's disregard for the law, since it's generally illegal to have chimpanzees in San Francisco."

Actually, chimps are not monkeys. They are members of the Ape family.
